Like many of you I woke up at 3:17 AM and headed out to the back yard and witnessed the last (in my lifetime anyway) winter solstice lunar eclipse. NASA reports this is the first time an eclipse has coincided with a soltice since December 21, 1638 and the next one won’t come around again…

Megan and Rick’s wedding at the Marriott in Norfolk, Virginia was our last one of the year so it’s only appropriate it should go out with a bang. This was my last frame, from my last wedding of the year. I can’t think of a better way to close this wedding season out!
