SARAH + LUKE // ENGAGEMENT

It’s not often you get the opportunity to work for your peers let alone your competition. Needless to say I was excited and nervous about shooting Sarah and Luke’s engagement session in Ocean City, Maryland. You see Sarah and Luke are both firefighters in Bethany Beach, Delaware and I’m a firefighter in Ocean City, Maryland. Our departments work and train together often so I’ve seen this couple getting down and dirty… on the fire ground that is. So the competition…. Sarah is also a photographer here on the Eastern Shore. I think we picked one of the hottest days of the summer to shoot their engagement photographs, it had to be at least 100 degrees. You would think living here at the beach you would get used to the temperature… not so much. We met at Northside Park in Ocean City and actually stumbled upon an Art show taking place in the park. While we fought the heat we certainly grabbed some amazing shots that definitely brought out the personality in this couple. Their wedding at Baywood Greens in Long Neck, Delaware this fall is certain to be one to remember. Cheers to you both!

KRISTIN AND FREDDIE ENGAGEMENT ~ OCEAN CITY

Kristin, Freddie and I hooked up at Ocean City Maryland’s Boardwalk a few weeks ago to shoot some engagement photos. I’ve known Freddie for several years as he is a member of the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Company with me. The bottom line, we shot some killer engagement photos and even got a little Skee Ball in at the Sport Land arcade as well. Congrats guys!

RACHEL AND RENEE PORTRAITS ~ SALISBURY

Steve and I met up with our good friends Rachel and Renee today at my studio and worked on a few photos for their comp cards. We then cruised to downtown Salisbury, Maryland and had a blast shooting some casual stuff.

The day started in Ocean City, Maryland out wondering wether or not the weather was going to hold up for an outside beach wedding, so typical for Ocean City weather. Fortunately the 5 pm ceremony was green lighted and went off without a drop of rain. Since John is in the United States Navy their reception was held at the VFW Post 8296 in Ocean City. What a fun group of people at this wedding. Agata and her family are polish, so the Polish music and the dozens (literally) bottles of Polish vodka set the mood for an evening to remember. Best of luck to Agata and John and thanks for letting us share it with you!

Some of you may know Steve and I have been dabbling with modeling photography for several months now. We met Rachel a few years ago when Memories Forever Video Productions videotaped her wedding at the Fountains Wedding and Conference Center. After many months of trying to nail down a shoot date, we met up at my studio and shot a few candids to break the ice.

Steve and I met up with Taylor and Emily who Steve had known for years through the Seaford Dance Center in Seaford, Delaware. Taylor and Emily were looking for some senior portraits as they were entering their senior year at Sussex Technical High School in Georgetown, Delaware. We met up in Ocean City, Maryland and shot on the beach, boardwalk and under the fishing pier. The weather was great, the photos were great and we had a blast all afternoon. EMILY AND GLENN’S WEDDING ~ SNOW HILL

I had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding celebration of Emily Hinds and Glenn Shockley. The wedding ceremony took place in Snow Hill at the Spence Baptist Church and the reception immediately followed at the Pocomoke Elks Lodge.

I had a great time, met a ton of wonderful people and we couldn’t have asked for a better weather day. Today I had the pleasure of shooting some engagement pictures for a friend and co-worker April and her fiance Mike. We met up at the park in Salisbury for a few sunset photographs.
